Make your own Tiny Tea Cups
Did you enjoy the Tiny Teacups on today’s adventure? How about making your own at home? Here’s our fun and easy recipe:
Recipe:
Ingredients
Homemade shortbread biscuits (or use store-bought circular biscuits, like Digestives, as a cheat!)
Strawberry icing (pre-made or mix icing sugar with a few drops of water and food colouring)
Pink and white marshmallows
Chocolate freckles
Doughnut-shaped candy for the handle (e.g., gummy rings or Lifesavers)
Instructions
Prepare the Base: Lay out your biscuits as the base for each tea cup.
Add Strawberry Icing: Spread a small amount of strawberry icing on the biscuit to act as "glue."
Place the Marshmallow: Stick a marshmallow on top of the icing.
Top with a Freckle: Add another dab of icing to the top of the marshmallow and press a chocolate freckle into place.
Attach the Handle: Slice the gummy or lifesaver in half. Using icing as glue, stick the half doughnut-shaped candy to the side of the marshmallow to form the tea cup handle.
Let it Set: Allow the icing to dry for a few minutes before serving.
