Pre Adventure Fun

Enjoy these themed activities before setting off on your Where’s Wesley Adventure Day!

Activity 1

As long as you like
Equipment: LEGO

If you have LEGO at home, get it out and try these fun games:

Build a “Where’s Wesley?” Scene with LEGO
Take turns using LEGO bricks to create a simple scene like a city street, park, or beach. Add various elements like buildings, trees, or vehicles. Hide a small unique LEGO piece (like a red brick) somewhere in the scene.

Challenge each other to find it! You can give hints if needed, such as "It’s behind the big green tree!" or "He’s hiding near the blue tower!")

For extra fun:

Time each other - the quickest wins!

Make it a mystery - Before you start searching, guess what you're looking for! Ask questions like, “Am I looking for something blue?” or “Is it inside a building?” The builder (brick master) can only answer with “yes” or “no”!

LEGO Tower Speed Build

See who can build the tallest tower in a set time, (e.g. 2 minutes) the tallest tower standing when the timer goes off, wins!
To add a twist: Use only one hand, specific colours, or challenge each other to balance on one foot while building!

Activity 2

15 minutes
Equipment: Phone, laptop or other device

Create a Road Trip Playlist!

Kick off your family adventure by creating a fun and unique Spotify playlist together! Each family member can add up to 5 of their favourite songs. Be sure to include some tracks from the LEGO Movie, like “Everything is AWESOME” and “Super Cool”.

Once your playlist is ready, hit play as you head out on your adventure day! It’s a surefire way to make the journey just as memorable as the destination.


Activity 3

10 minutes
Equipment: none

A game for the road.

You’ll need sharp eyes to find our friend Wesley. What better way to practice than with a classic game of I Spy?

And finally, who is Wesley?

Before you set off on your quest, let’s learn more about Wesley! It might just help you find him on your adventure.

  1. Sweet treats: Wesley adores sweet treats like chocolate, marshmallows, and lollies. He’s also a big fan of fruit -especially juicy grapes!

  2. Adventure: Wesley loves exploring new places, discovering great photo spots, and making new friends.

  3. Puzzles: Wesley loves a good puzzle and his favourite colour is blue.
