A stroll through the palms

Make your way back onto Palm Avenue and stroll through the tall palm trees as you head to the middle of the Botanical Gardens called the “Four Corner Lawn”.

Don’t forget to take your very insta worthy pictures along these Skyduster Palms which can get up to 30 meters high.

As you head down the track you will be greeted by the statue of Alfred Thomas Clarke.

Did you know that Alfred Thomas Clarke was a representative for Williamstown in Parliament in the late 1800’s? He was a strong supporter of the Education act and founded the Williamstown Advertiser which gave independent expression to journalists and the “working Man” to local issues!
