To the waves we go!
Continue walking towards the beach! Feel free to walk along some of the tracks along the way and get a final gaze at this glorious park. See if you can spot any Fig trees and colourful flowers blooming along the way.
This Particular part of the Botanical Gardens is the addition called the L.A Parker Reserve. A lot of the plants here differ from the original Botanical Gardens once more research was done on what can actually grow seaside.
Once you finish your Garden walk you will find yourself at the Esplanade Sidewalk. Head RIGHT on the path and once you see the famous Williamstown Rotunda on your left then cross the street! Once you have crossed the street head towards that beautiful water!
Did you know that Williamstown was Melbourne’s first port? It was established at the same time that Melbourne Was! It was originally named Port Harwood but later the name was changed in 1835. Can you believe that all of the shops, hotels and cafes were not even a thought until 1856!? Looks like a coffee stroll on the beach was not a thing then!
