Learn about dinosaurs!
Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) was a big dinosaur with short arms and a big mouth full of sharp teeth. It walked on two legs and was very strong.
Triceratops had three big horns on its head like a crown! It was a plant-eater and had a bumpy shield on its neck.
Stegosaurus had big plates on its back and a spiky tail. It used its plates for protection and its tail to defend itself.
Brachiosaurus had a long neck like a giraffe and was one of the tallest dinosaurs. It used its long neck to reach high into trees for leaves to eat.
Velociraptor was a fast dinosaur with sharp claws on its feet. It was smart and hunted in packs like a team.
Pterodactyl was a flying reptile with a long beak and wings like a bird. It soared through the sky during the time of dinosaurs.
Parasaurolophus had a distinctive crest, which resembles a long, backward-curving tube projecting from its skull. This could be over 1.5 meters (5 feet) long in some species.

Create a road trip playlist
Start your family adventure by conjuring up a Spotify playlist together. Each family member can add up to 5 songs they love, and bonus points if they’re dino-themed!
You could include timeless classics like the "Jurrasic Park” soundtrack or family favourites like "Walk The Dinosaur". Once your epic playlist is set, pop it on in the car and enjoy the tunes as you embark on your adventure!

Game to play during the day
Here is a fun game to play, while you’re out and about on your Adventure Day! Take turns where one player will think of a dinosaur without revealing it to the others. The remaining players take turns asking yes-or-no questions to figure out the dinosaur. For example, they might ask, "Does it live in the water?" or "Is it a carnivore?" The player who thought of the dinosaur can only answer "yes" or "no." The game continues until someone correctly guesses the dinosaur or the players reach 20 questions. The first person to guess correctly gets to go next.
